Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai called the UN’s global Industrial Development Report a valuable resource for Vietnam. During a meeting in Hanoi yesterday with the UN Industrial Development Organization Executive Director Wilfried Luetkenhorst in Hanoi yesterday, Mr. Hai said Vietnam wants to cooperate with the agency in building policies to develop industries that meet criteria for environmental protection, chemical management and human resources training. In response, Luetkenhorst said Vietnam is among UNIDO’s most important partners and praised its progress in industrial development.
