At a meeting Wednesday with the provincial authorities, Vu Trong Binh, Director General of the Department of Employment of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, said the province needs to speed up implementation of government resolutions to help badly disadvantaged families.

Binh said: “Roles need to be assigned at commune and ward level, particularly within the Fatherland Front, to review and list beneficiaries publicly. Provincial levels must be responsible for speeding up disbursement approval. Grassroots levels have to publicly review the list of beneficiaries to avoid abuses.”

More than 345,000 people are listed as eligible to benefit from the relief package in Dak Lak, which is worth nearly 13 million USD.
