The two-day exchange is being attended by experts from military hospitals of the US and the UK, along with officers of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Centre and the Vietnamese Defense Ministry.

It aims to share expertise between relevant parties to help Vietnam stand ready to send its force to UN peacekeeping missions when requested.

It would also boost understanding, friendship, and cooperation between Vietnam and foreign partners in the field.

The field hospital equipment practical training is scheduled for September.
