Vietnam strengthens cooperation with Russia’s Far East

(VOVWORLD) - Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh held working sessions with Yury Trutnev, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, and  Vladimir Miklushevskii, Governor of the Primorye region in Vladivostok, Russia on Tuesday.

Binh was in Vladivostok to attend the third Eastern Economic Forum this week.

At the working sessions, Binh said trade between Vietnam and the Far East is not competitive but naturally beneficial.

Binh witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the People’s Committee of Hai Phong and the Primorye region.
