(VOVworld) – The Prime Minister has decided on the formation and apparatus of Vietnam subcommittees under intergovernmental committees.

Under the decision, intergovernmental committees are established pursuant to international treaties and can also be called joint committees, bilateral cooperation committees, cooperation direction committees, partnership committees, development partnership forums, or another name matching international treaties to which Vietnam is a signatory.

The subcommittees are to help the Prime Minister coordinate cooperation in all fields with other countries, implement international treaties and agreements, and ensure that intergovernmental committees operate effectively.
