Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc told the visiting Indian Chairman of Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Sunil Lanba in Hanoi on Wednesday that as a close friend of India and a coordinating country in ASEAN-India relations, Vietnam supports India’s strengthening cooperation in East Asia and its permanent membership to the expanded UN Security Council. Chairman Lanba praised traditional friendship and cooperation with Vietnam, saying that India will continue to promote bilateral cooperation in all fields.
