Vietnam to play World Cup qualifiers behind closed doors

(VOVWORLD) - To guarantee pandemic safety, the World Cup Asian qualifiers in the UAE next month, including three Vietnam's matches, will be played without spectators, according to VnExpress.

Vietnam will face Indonesia, Malaysia, and the UAE in Dubai from June 7 to 15.

All members of Vietnam’s national team received their COVID-19 jab in April. Vietnam are topping group G of the World Cup Asian qualifiers with 11 points after five games.

The Golden Dragons will enter the final round of qualifiers for the first time in history if they score at least six points from three games.
