Vietnam, UNICEF join hands to ensure no child is left behind

(VOVWORLD) - The UNICEF Representative in Vietnam says UNICEF values its cooperation with Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training, praising the many effective activities they have conducted.

Ms. Rana Flowers recently met with Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son to discuss cooperation over the past 5 years. The two agreed on priorities and recommendations for cooperation until 2026.

Ms. Flowers said she hopes that in the next 5 years, the 2 sides will continue to work closely with each other and focus on ensuring no that child is disadvantaged or left behind.

UNICEF is coordinating with Vietnamese agencies to compile statistics on the number of children affected by the COVID-19 epidemic in order to design appropriate support solutions, she said.
