Vietnam, US boost people-to-people exchanges
(VOVWORLD) - On Wednesday, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) hosted a reception for a delegation from the Communist Party of the US led by member of the National Committee Arturo Cambron, in Hanoi on Wednesday.

At the meeting, VUFO President Phan Anh Son highlighted the strong development in Vietnam – US relation and its upgrade to a comprehensive strategic partnership during US President Joe Biden’s state visit to Vietnam last September.
He said people-to-people exchange is one of the 10 pillars of Vietnam-US comprehensive strategic partnership. Thus, in the coming time, VUFO and its member organizations such as the Vietnam-US Society and the Vietnam Peace Committee will continue to strengthen people-to-people exchange activities between the two countries, Son added.
Cambron said the delegation wishes to learn more about the history, culture, country, and people of Vietnam as well as experience in building socialism in Vietnam.
