Vietnam, Venezuela strengthen cooperation at international organizations
(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Venezuela pledged to further cooperate at international organizations and multilateral forums. The agreement was reached between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh and the visiting Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez at a reception on Monday.

The two diplomats agreed to maintain and raise the effectiveness of political consultation mechanisms between the two Foreign Ministries to boost bilateral cooperation in various fields. They agreed to strengthen coordination in energy, oil and gas, agriculture and fishery. The two diplomats also confirmed more cooperation between Vietnam and Venezuela at international organizations and forums such as the UN, the non-aligned movement and South-South Cooperation Mechanisms.
