Vietnam wants to boost parliamentary cooperation with Saudi Arabia

(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s National Assembly wants to boost cooperation with the Saudi Arabian parliament in sharing experience in law making and supervision.

At a reception for the Saudi ambassador to Vietnam, Dakhil Al Johani, on Wednesday, the National Assembly’s Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said Vietnam always welcomes and works with the ambassador in an effort to boost cooperation and friendship between the two countries, and their legislative bodies for peace and prosperity in the region and the world. Hung expressed his hope that the two countries would further cooperate together and raise two-way trade turnover to 3 billion USD in the near future. The two parliaments also need to boost their exchange of delegations and forge bilateral ties at multi-lateral parliamentary forums. 
Ambassador Alijohani said he hoped the two countries would further cooperate in the areas of labor and agriculture. He said both the government and enterprises of Saudi Arabia wished to seek more business opportunities in Vietnam.
