(VOVworld) - Vietnam won 10 gold, two silver and eight bronze medals to temporarily rank fourth at the 2015 ASEAN School Games in Brunei.

Vietnam's gold medals are mainly from athletics events of javelin, long jump and running. Indonesia took the lead followed by Malaysia. Vietnam sent 51 athletes and officials to compete in the seventh ASEAN Schools Games which kicked off in Brunei on November 22. The team are competing in four out of seven sports at the event, including athletics, badminton, golf and pencak silat. The seven-sport event, which aims to foster greater collaboration among school students in ASEAN member countries, will close on November 29.
