(VOVworld) – The third Vietnam-China Border Defence Friendship Exchange program will be carried out from March 28-31 in both Lang Son and Guangxi provinces under the joint command of Vietnamese Defense Minister Phung Quang Thanh and his Chinese counterpart Chang Wan Quan.

The latest round of friendship exchange will include joint-patrols of the two countries’ border guards and a series of military and cultural exchange events in Yen Khoai commune in Loc Binh District, Lang Son Province.
The events are designed to consolidate friendship and solidarity between the two nation’s Defence Ministries and border security forces with the aim of ensuring a border based on peace, friendship and stability.
