Vietnam-China land border cooperation strengthened
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and China have agreed to promote cooperation and development in border areas to build a border of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation and development.

The agreement was reached at a meeting of the two countries’ joint committee on the land border held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The two sides agreed on their working plan this year focusing on the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the “The Vietnam-China Land Border Treaty”, and the 15th anniversary of the Protocol on Vietnam-China Land Border Demarcation.
They agreed to pilot the operation of the landscape site of Ban Gioc (Vietnam) – Detian (China) Waterfalls with a roadmap towards official operation this year.
The two sides will work closely to implement the three legal documents on Vietnam-China land border and related agreements, and promote cooperation and development in border areas.
