(VOVworld) – Hundreds of Vietnamese and Lao businesses were presented with ‘ASEAN Famous Brand’ awards in a ceremony in Vientiane on Saturday.

BIDV is one of Vietnamese businesses to receive 'ASEAN Famous Brand" award

The Vietnamese awarded enterprises included the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank), Tan Hiep Phat Group, and Thien Long Company.

They are the enterprises whose trademarks, the quality of products and services have been trusted and favored by domestic consumers and in the process to expand operation to other regional markets. The awarding is based on productivity, quality, and contributions to socio-economic development of locality, a certain sector, the homeland, and ASEAN.
