The Vietnamese Ambassador to France, Duong Chi Dung, spoke highly of the work of the association, the Lien Viet Association, and Vovinam Club, all of which were established by Jean-Marie Pognon, a French citizen of Vietnamese origin.

Mr. Dung noted that the associations’ activities to introduce Vietnamese culture and tourism and support poor students and disadvantaged localities in Vietnam have contributed greatly to Vietnam’s development and Vietnamese-French friendship.
