Vietnamese diplomats urged to help raise Vietnam's international stature
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc called on ambassadors and heads of representative agencies of Vietnam who will work abroad for the 2019–2020 tenure to strive for national development with important socio-economic and diplomatic achievements that will improve Vietnam’s international stature.

At a reception for the diplomats in Hanoi on Wednesday, Mr. Phuc said he hopes they will show a high sense of responsibility for protecting the interests of Vietnamese citizens and promoting cooperation between Vietnam and other countries.
Ambassadors were urged to combine political with economic and cultural diplomacy to bolster all-around collaboration with foreign countries, help overseas Vietnamese preserve their traditional culture while actively promoting trade and investment, and share foreign market information with Vietnamese enterprises.
