The Vietnamese top leader praised the Ambassador 's contribution to strengthening the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. He reiterated Vietnam's consistent policy of respecting and promoting ties with Russia in all aspects. 

Mr. Trong highlighted the development of bilateral cooperation in economics, defense, military techniques, energy, and oil and gas. He urged the two countries to effectively implement agreements signed by their leaders for the development of their respective countries and for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
