The Vietnamese satellite together with 6 other satellites of Japan will put into orbit by the Epsilon rocket from the Uchinoura Space Center in Japan. Micro Dragon, an earth observation satellite, weighs 50kg. After going into orbit, it will observe coastal sea areas to assess water quality, locate fisheries resources and monitor changes in coastal waters to serve Vietnam’s aquaculture industry. Micro Dragon development was completed in 2017 and underwent a harsh test process by JAXA.
