Because of the complex development of the epidemic, Japan has decided to delay the event slated for last weekend in Ho Chi Minh City, Takebe told Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien in their meeting in Hanoi on Monday. The event will be rescheduled around mid-year or year-end, he said, adding that the rescheduled festival will be held on a larger scale, featuring an event hosted by the Japan Business Association promoting dialogue for peace between Vietnam and Japan.
