Vietnam-Romania’s joint committee on economic cooperation convenes in Bucharest

(VOVWORLD) - The 16th meeting of the Vietnam-Romanian Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation was held on Friday in Bucharest under the chairmanship of  Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh and Romanian Minister for Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship Stefan Radu Oprea. 

Both sides called for more trade promotional activities to help businesses of both countries to explore their partners’ markets and exchange information on law and business cooperation. They agreed to establish a joint taskforce on trade to analyze economic development and bilateral trade cooperation to map out solutions to boost bilateral cooperation. Vietnam supports Romanian companies to invest in oil and gas exploitation, oil refinery, shipbuilding, and mechanical industry. The same day the two leaders attended Vietnam – Romania Business Forum.
