Vietnam’s 2013 Provincial Competitiveness Index announced

(VOVworld) – Da Nang has resumed its 1st position in the country’s 2013 Provincial Competitiveness Index, announced the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce (VCCI) at a ceremony on Thursday in Hanoi. VCCI reports show that the provincial and municipal economic management quality of Vietnam has seen positive changes over the past time with a gradually increasing trend.

Almost major economic centers in Vietnam saw their rankings improved with Ho Chi Minh moved up 3 positions to the list of top 10 highest PCI while Hanoi earned 18 points to move from the 51st position in 2012 to rank at 33rd. Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ngai, and Quang Ninh provinces are among the best performers while the poorest performance belongs to the northern mountainous provinces.
