Vietnam’s export revenue increases during Jan-May
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam’s export earned 19 billion USD in May, an increase of 7% against the same period last year. From January to May, Vietnam’s export turnover was at 128 billion USD, 15.8% higher than last year’s period.

Experts said positive signals in the global economy, particularly the US, EU, and China, have influenced Vietnam’s positive growth. Commodity prices in international markets increasing in the early of this have benefited Vietnam’s export.
Rice, cashew nut, cassava and petroleum have remained Vietnam’s export staples. During the period, the United States is still Vietnam's largest export market, followed by the EU, China, ASEAN, Japan, and South Korea.
