Le Tien Truong, General Director of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Group, said the Group plans to increase its industrial production value 14 percent against last year, and further penetrate into the US, EU, and Japan: “The Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement boasts great potential for Vietnam because the European market spends more than 200 billion USD on clothing each year. 2017 is the preparatory year for the Vietnam-EU free trade agreement. Other bilateral and multilateral agreements also create new opportunities for enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises to expand their markets”.
