(VOVworld) – A program was held in Paris, France on Friday to introduce Vietnamese cultural heritage and tourism potential. 

Vietnamese Ambassador to France Nguyen Ngoc Son highlighted the important role that the tourism sector plays in Vietnam’s economic development. He said France is one of Vietnam’s leading European partners in the hospitality sector with 200,000 visitors to Vietnam each year.

The event is part of Vietnam's Master Plan on tourism promotion in Europe until 2017. It gathers several leading travel agents and hotel owners  from both Vietnam and France.

Through the program, Vietnam will introduce its UNESCO-recognized tangible and intangible cultural heritages and tourism products.
