VOV Director General presents gift to NHK Vice President

(VOVworld) – Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) will work more closely in anticipation of the 40^th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries next year. At Wednesday’s meeting with NHK Vice President, Naoji Ono, in Tokyo, VOV Director General Nguyen Dang Tien suggested that both broadcasters exchange radio and TV programs, and work together on personnel management and training. Ono praised recent developments at VOV and said he hoped that the Vietnamese radio station will successfully host next year’s conference of the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU)  General Assembly.

As part of their visit to Japan, the VOV delegation led by Director General Tien, also held talks with Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Doan Xuan Hung.
