(VOVworld) – World Bank Country Director for Vietnam Victoria Kwakwa hailed Vietnam’s achievements in stabilizing the macro economy which helped Vietnam further attract foreign investment and contributed to Vietnam’s sustainable economic development.

She made the remarks at a Friday reception hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh in Hanoi, highlighting the World Bank’s commitments to support Vietnam’s economic restructuring. Deputy PM Ninh applauded the WB’s recommendations and policy consultations to help Vietnam restructure its economy, saying such support has brought positive results. Both sides exchanged opinions on issues of shared concern regarding the three major areas that need restructuring.
