(VOVworld) – Winners of the writing contest "What impresses you most about Europe, write it down and win a ticket to Brussels" were announced at an award ceremony on Tuesday in Hanoi.

Since it was launched 5 months ago, the contest has received more than 1000 entries from young people nationwide. Contestants expressed their knowledge, experience, and dreams and shared their ideas on how to bring Europe closer to Vietnamese youth.

Le Chau Bao Ngoc, a third-year student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema won a round trip ticket to Europe with her entry entitled “Europe and my cinematic dream”. Ngoc said: "Among Europe’s arts, I love cinema the most. I want to tell the EU delegation in Vietnam that there are many Vietnamese young people who wish to learn more about Europe and win an opportunity to study and work in Europe. During this trip, I’ll introduce the image of Vietnam as a country of active and creative people who can communicate with international friends not only with languages but also through various other means, including cinematography."

The event was co-organized by the Vietnam Student Newspaper and the EU delegation to Vietnam.​
