(VOVworld) – Winners of a contest entitled “Discover World Heritage Sites in Hanoi, The City for Peace” were announced at a Tuesday ceremony in Hanoi.

Two first prizes went to students of the People’s Security Academy. Pham Cong Hung is head of the Academy’s winning team: "It took us 2 months to realize our idea and complete our model of the Doan Mon Gate, one of the main entrances to the Royal Citadel. Images of the mossy gate reflect the glorious history of Hanoi and Vietnam and should be preserved. Iron sheets and paper boards with customized and printed designs, were used to make our model"

52 entries in the form of articles, scientific research, video clips, and exhibits represented contestants’ solutions to preserving and developing Hanoi’s world cultural heritages.
