(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received World Bank (WB) East Asia and Pacific Regional Vice President Axel van Trotsenburg, in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Dung said relations between Vietnam and the WB are developing positively and thanked the Bank for its assistance and practical policy consultations for Vietnam. He hoped for WB’s continued support for Vietnam in socio-economic development, infrastructure building, human resource development and poverty reduction. The Vietnamese government leader confirmed that Vietnam will continue to improve its use of WB aid. Axel van Trotsenburg pledged WB’s continued support for Vietnam in policy consultation concerning macro-economic stability and maintaining growth.
