World leaders extended their congratulations to Sheinbaum on Monday. US President Joe Biden expressed his hope to work closely with President Sheinbaum in the spirit of partnership and friendship.
Brazilian President Luiz Iganio Lula da Silva hailed Sheinbaum's victory as a triumph for democracy and revealed his intention to visit Mexico this year to strengthen bilateral trade relations.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau emphasized his desire to coordinate closely with Sheinbaum to strengthen relations between the two countries and cooperate in climate change, international security and peace, and gender equality.
Leaders of the European Commission, Ukraine, Chile, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina expressed their desire to work closely with the President-elect of Mexico to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation across various domains in the near future.
