When the pandemic surged in May, Tuan began working at quarantine sites and checkpoints.

“I consider fighting the pandemic as urgent as fighting an enemy. I’ve been involved in patrols, disinfection work, and supporting people in blockaded areas by bringing them food and other necessities.”

Tuan serves as a role model in disease prevention and control, and encourages people in quarantine areas to follow all preventive measures.

“I explain the Health Ministry’s COVID-19 regulations to make local people more aware of the pandemic effort. I hope this communication work will help push back COVID-19,” said Tuan.
