I’m looking for a small yet meaningful present for my girlfriend on this occasion."

Duong Thu Huyen made a cake covered with chocolate and knitted a woolen scarf as Valentine presents for her boyfriend. She said: "There’s a saying that the way to the man’s heart is through his stomach so I decided that I’ll cook some favorite dishes for him on this occasion. This Valentine season, Ha Phuong Trang and Do Tung Duong were busy preparing for their wedding day which falls exactly on Valentine Day, February 14th. Trang said they chose this day because it marks their 6th anniversary of first meeting each other and 5th anniversary of falling in love.  Trang told VOV: "We chose this day our wedding day as we want it forever be our most special day in the year. The biggest and most meaningful gifts we will give each other on this occasion are our wedding rings. As our celebrations are very close to the lunar New Year festival, we’re very excited and extremely busy preparing for both important events. As we’re very happy, we don’t feel tired at all."

For those who are still single, they have prepared their own ways to enjoy themselves. Tran Thu Ha, a student of National Economics University, is one of them. Ha said: "This day, I’ll treat myself better by shopping things I like and eat delicious food. I’ll spend my Valentine evening watching movie, reading books or listening to music. I think that’s pretty romantic for me."
