Bad news for national squad as forward Anh Duc recovery prolonged
(VOVWORLD) - Anh Duc occasioned bad news for coach Park Hang-seo as the Binh Duong club striker will likely have to sit out from the World Cup 2022 qualifier against Malaysia next month.
Veteran Anh Duc, Park’s top man in the offensive line, has been suffering from a nagging injury since the match against Thailand on September 5.
Mac Hong Quan and Ha Minh Tuan are possible replacements, but both have only limited experience playing for coach Park.
33 players of the national squad started their training on Monday.
Vietnam will play Malaysia at My Dinh stadium in Hanoi on Oct 10 before travelling to Indonesia on Oct 15.
