11th National Radio Festival kicks off
(VOVworld) – The 11th National Radio Festival kicked off on Wednesday in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province.
The festival’s entries showcase many press genres including investigate reporting, interviews, radio articles and general radio programs. Ngo Hoai Nam, Head of the Editorial Secretariat at the Voice of Ho Chi Minh city, said: "The festival offers us many opportunities to learn about the experiences of the Voice of Vietnam as well as other radio-TV stations from other provinces and cities. There aren’t any real differences between the major or smaller stations, only advances in development".
After preliminary rounds in the North, the Central and the South, 189 pieces were selected for the final round. The National Radio Festival is intended to honor outstanding journalists and work in the broadcasting industry. It offers the chance for radio journalists to share and update the latest technology of the modern media in Vietnam and the world.
The program also includes seminars on the latest technologies in the digital broadcasting era, as well as the development of ethnic language radio programs. The Festival will officially open on Thursday and conclude on Saturday.
