5th National Congress of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association opens
(VOVworld) – The 5th National Congress of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association opened in Hanoi on Saturday with nearly 1,000 delegates from across Vietnam attending. From a 15-member club under the Vietnam Youth Federation, over the last 21 years, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association has established a network of nearly 10,000 members in all provinces and cities. Its members have generated more than 2.5 million jobs and an annual revenue of 25 billion USD.
The association has made significant contributions to modernizing the agricultural sector. Secretary of the Vietnam Youth Union and Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation Nguyen Phi Long said: “The association has rallied young entrepreneurs in national construction and defense. It has helped young people to in business startup and support themselves.”
Delegates will review the last term and discuss plans for the 2014-2017 term as well as recommendations for the party and state to support young entrepreneurs in production. A ceremony to honor Vietnam’s 10most outstanding young entrepreneurs was held the same day.
