(VOVworld)- A consultation workshop on simplifying administrative procedures to ease administrative burdens in 2015 took place in Hanoi on Wednesday. The participants agreed that in 2014, the government had resolutely pressed ahead with administrative reforms in customs, taxation, land, natural resources, the environment and construction.

They discussed the government’s plans on streamlining 18 groups of administrative procedures in health care, education, production, and public affairs. Ngo Hai Phan, Director of the Department of Administrative Procedures Control of the Ministry of Justice, says: “In 2015, it’s necessary to concentrate on social welfare, agriculture and rural areas. Because nearly 70 million people are involved in agriculture, our administrative reforms will have a major impact on a majority of people. We also need to strengthen administrative reforms in health care. The plan to streamline 18 groups of administrative procedures will contribute to the reform of business activities and improve relations between the public and authorities”.
