Highlights of the discussion were to identify corrupt people and feasible solutions for the national strategy on corruption prevention and combating until 2020. Associate Professor Vu Van Phuc, Editor-in-chief of the Communist Review and a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Theoretical Council, comments ‘The seminar is significant as corruption is now a national disaster and a serious disease. If we aren’t successful in the fight against corruption, it may threaten the survival of the regime and the Party’s leadership. As a result, we should outline more effective measures to combat corruption to improve the Party’s leadership and consolidate people’s trust.
