(VOVworld) – The Institute of State and Law and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, KAS, Institute office in Thailand on Monday co-organized a seminar entitled “Constitutional review – experiences and suggestion to Vietnam”.

The participants agreed that the Constitution is the original law, and has the ultimate legitimate value. It needs protection from potential violation. They said a special mechanism to protect the Constitution should be studied thoroughly. Experts from Bonn University of Germany and the KAS office in Thailand talked about international experiences in constitutional protection, and constitutional protection in law-making, judicial and executive activities. The seminar discussed useful lessons for Vietnam during the 1992 Constitution revision process.
