(VOVworld)- A discussion “Discovery of Truong Sa through photos” was held on Saturday within the framework of the Book Festival in Hanoi.

Authors of "Come to Truong Sa" photo book Doan Bac and Nguyen Hong Ky at the seminar

The seminar introduced the book “Come to Truong Sa” by Doan Bac and Nguyen Hong Ky as well as a photo project about Truong Sa of the Navy Arm and the Vietnam News Agency. The book introduces readers to 500 latest photos of Truong Sa. Historian Duong Trung Quoc says the book “Come to Truong Sa” reflects Vietnamese people’s heroism and Vietnam’s undeniable sovereignty over Truong Sa archipelago: “The book is very interesting showing the authors’ dynamism in applying visual language and systematic presentation formats which are easy to understand for both Vietnamese and foreign readers. The book is bilingual  and reflects the viewpoint, guidelines and policies concerning sea and islands of the Vietnamese Party and State”.

Revenues from book selling will be contributed to the fund to support Truong Sa islanders and soldiers.
