(VOVworld)-The Minister of Education and Training has addressed public concerns over the quality of higher education, the operation of private schools, incentive policies for teachers working in remote areas. During an online dialogue with the public via the Government portal on Wednesday, Minister Pham Vu Luan said that priority will be given to overhauling the education and training system: “It’s crucial to upgrade facilities and raise the qualifications of teachers to improve the quality of pre-school and basic education. Pre-primary education for children up to 5 years old is being universalized with special attention given to remote areas and ethnic minority groups. State management in higher education will continue to be decentralized.”
