(VOV) – Vietnam Fatherland Front President Huynh Dam has sent a letter to congratulate Catholic dignitaries and followers on the occasion of Christmas.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front spoke highly of the effort by the Vietnam Catholic Church and the Evangelical Church to live a good secular life, implement the Party and State’s guidelines and policies, help fulfill Vietnam’s socio-economic and cultural development tasks, and promote national unity.

Chairman Dam also expressed his hope that Catholic dignitaries and followers will continue to further bring into full play patriotism and national unity to make more practical contribution to national construction and defence to build a prosperous, democratic and civilized Vietnam.
