(VOVworld)-In a regular interview with ministers on Sunday, Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh has hailed the importance of the ASEAN Community in its impact to the people and business sector. Minh said the community with its three pillars of politic and security, economic, cultural and social ties will promote friendship and cooperation for peace, stability and connectivity. He cited further cooperation in regional combat against crimes, drug abuse and non traditional security threats. He expected that the community will help generate an economic growth rate of 4.5% in 2018 thanks to further liberation of trade and investment as well as mutual recognition of goods standards and quality.
