(VOVworld)-The Youth Union in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday launched the 6^th  volunteer campaign themed “Green Marching”.The event drew the participation of more than one thousand youth union members, police and military officers and local students.

The 6^th Green Marching campaign, which expects to gather 10,000 participants, aims to develop a modern city of security and community development while caring for disadvantaged people. Pham Hong Son is the command of the campaign:“The campaign will create an environment for young armed forces. In response to the Year on Traffic Safety, we register to build up 25 safe and convenient ferry stations and commit to comply with traffic law. We will visit the countryside to provide free healthcare services and treatment as well as building irrigation network.”

After the launching ceremony, campaign participants organized training courses on anti-school violence and fire prevention and planted 5,000 trees.
