Indian films festival 2015 opens
(VOVworld) - The Indian Film Festival 2015 opened on Friday at Hanoi’s national Cinema Center. The festival, featuring eight movies, is expected to bring various aspects of Indian life to Vietnam's audiences. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien spoke at the opening ceremony:
"Culture in general and cinematography in particular is an important and effective way to connect nations and enhance mutual understanding. Vietnamese film lovers will have a chance to watch the most outstanding Indian films at this festival. This event is expected foster closer bonds between the two countries and their peoples."
A workshop, entitled "Vietnam-India cinema cooperation and tourism promotion," will be organized as part of the festival. The festival will take place in three major cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.
