(VOVworld) - Young people and students in Ho Chi Minh City have launched a festival on national patriotism. More than 2,000 participants joined a flash-mob on the background of music about Vietnam and patriotism. A forum was held to recall national glorious history and to encourage young people to make recommendations to address social issues. Pham Hong Son, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City’s Union of Youth Associations, said: “Young people have many activities to promote education on national tradition and patriotism. Our “Loving Motherland” campaign has been carried out to promote patriotism and raise the youth’s roles and responsibilities in national and municipal development.”
