(VOVworld) – A seminar took place in the central city of Da Nang on Thursday to gather opinions on a project to improve understanding of international economic integration and disseminate the newly signed FTAs.

International economic integration over the past 30 years has allowed Vietnam to become an official member of the World Trade Organization. Vietnam has been signing free trade agreements with developed countries around the globe.

Negotiations and participation in FTAs require Vietnam’s ministries and relevant agencies to further help provinces, enterprises, and all people to keep up with the country’s policies.

Nguyen Cam Tu, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said: “we’ll organize public polls in specialized areas and major cities and hope to have the opinions of provincial management agencies in the central and central highlands regions on principles, characteristics, solutions, and priorities for the project.”
