(VOVworld)- The Australian People for Health, Education and Development Abroad (APHEDA) and Hai Duong provincial women union have held a workshop on sustainable employment and empowering disabled people in the community. After one year of implementing the project, local people with disability have reported higher living standards and better linkages with the community through networks where their voice could be collected and sent to government agencies. Many of them have received training in life skills. The project is expected to last until 2015 to improve people with disability's connectivity nationwide.
