Ba Be tourism site is the venue where the 9th “Through Viet Bac Heritage Sites” program and the Ba Be – Bac Kan Tourism Week 2017 take place.

The program is held annually to promote the land, people, culture, and tourism potentials of provinces in Viet Bac military base and boost socio-economic development in the area. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Dang Thi Bich said: “The provinces in Viet Bac area should work together to boost tourism development, helping to reduce poverty. They also need to get the society involved in the preservation and promotion of national cultural values, build unique tourism products to attract more tourists”.

Various tours to the historical and cultural relic sites are offered to visitors during the program.
