(VOVoworld) - The US Department of Commerce (DoC) on Friday announced its final decision on the seventh preliminary results of administrative review (POR7) for anti-dumping duties on tra fish fillets imported from Vietnam. In a surprising move, the DoC decided to impose a rate of US$0.00 per kg on Vietnam’s Vinh Hoan company and 3 cents per kg on 12 other companies. The DoC preliminarily decided on September 9, last year, that the tax rate for Vinh Hoan company stood at zero, while the duty for others surged 28 times from 2 cents per kg to 56 cents per kg. The latest results are attributable to Vietnamese agencies’ efforts to elicit support from US politicians.
